| I have been offered a rather minty rebuilt unit construction Bonnie and have no idea of what the market values are. I know what he's asking, which seems dear to me (doesn't it always) so I thought I'd ask the great collective for their opinion. I've had a good look over it, it starts easily and the engine seems in fine fettle, as does the rest of the bike so it is a question of agreeing a price - if we can. I get the impression he's needing to sell rather than wanting to, which tips the scales somewhat in my favour. |

Agree with Ironhead. 5K seems to be the average starting price for these.
Bear in mind that the 1969 model was considered to be the ultimate incarnation of the marque. Proper brakes, proper handling and good looks. I had a 1969 TR6 Trophy and have regretted selling it ever since I did.
