does anyone know where i can the rubber infills that hold the door open on older caravans?
it goes inside a medal catch

I don´t think you will get exactly the same but the same sort of thing can be bought -off the shelf-

I still think your best bet is to try and get something that is close to what you have, in a complete unit. Trying to get -half- of what you have will take some time (at least Shocked ). Why not use something completely different for the moment so that it´s functional and then keep you eye out for the bits you want Wink

this rubber part attaches inside this part it clips the head of the bed on a westfalia camper,looking at our otten caravan it has the same part,even the code no is the same..

Not the first time I´ve seen that sort of fixture. Westfalia being German and the Otten being Dutch, I would think that the spares are mainly on the continent. Westphalia Club or Otten Club. The Camping Oldies club in Germany might be able to help. I do believe there is a Dutch club for period caravans-camping. As you´ve had trouble with it, chances are that everyone else has also. So I would think it quite possible to get a new one (and while you´re at it.... get 3 Smile )

Thought.... Put up ebay.de. Write anhanger and then the part number. Might work Rolling Eyes

nope I`ve got in contact with Frank the westy man and he said nobody does them anymore and nobody on the latebay has seen any either

That being the case I would try the caravan fraternity. Ebay Germany and Holland.... Somebody somewhere has got them Wink
