The 2 that spring to mind are the VW Beetle in the Herbie films and the DeLorean in the Back to the Future films......any more.??

And the 'made for the movie' cars in the great race with Tony Curtis and Jack Lemon

You can't leave out the Mustang GT and Dodge Charger in Bullit. That was one heck of a car chase.

Not actually in films but a very famous car nevertheless. Spare a thought, and perhaps a tear, for the guy who paid £160k for Jimmy Savile's Rolls Royce Corniche. ( I can't help chuckling though. Twisted Evil )
