There may be an outside chance they stilll have the records. Usually have to pay a small amount. Worth a try. I did this with my cars; I received a photocopy of the original documentation (1953) with evidence of Chassis and engine number. Original plate number had been reassigned! With my second car from a different county (Glamorgan) they had unfortunately lost the records for 1930 to 1935..oh well! |
I wonder if Oxford County Records would be the correct office if the car is now on an age related plate? _________________ Regards John

I have just spoken to the Oxford Records Office and subsequently sent them an email. Sounds hopeful. _________________ Regards John
