I watched the first episode on Sunday night and it looked really good, and it was good to see some of the old skills.

Hi

Sounds like Bolton or such like to me, could be wrong, but that area...

I am not to comment on his hands, mine are no better, typing away on this laptop, I guess it is something to do with Dirty jobs, and steam engines! Smile

I once went out in Knutsford after a day Steaming the engine, I was black, and anyone who knows Knutsford, knows it is rather posh in parts, I felt rather out of place, but I couldn't have cared less, I went to the wash room, and had a good stand up bath! lol

Cheers

Dave

Guy Martin is from Lincolnshire and just in case you didn't know he is one of the best (and certainly the most reckless!) IOM TT riders.

Hi
What channel was it on?

Is that prog where Guy wanders round the country in a narrow boat fitting it out?
If so, I saw it earlier, or is it a second series?

Ch4 or 5, new series, not the boat one.

Yes here is a pic from one of his races ~ how he surveved it I cannot
begin to imagine ~ if you look closely on the right you can just see his foot as he slides clear of the flames, and top left you can see the petrol tank flying through the air..........
