Not sure that I actually want any more projects at the mo, but I would like a Mk1 Mini, preferably breathed-on a little. My problem (or at least one of them) is that I'm not that focused, so anything from a 1930s truck, to say another A55/A60 to use as a daily motor, or perhaps a pre-war motorcycle, could appeal....likely as not I'll stick with what I've got, for now anyway Smile

I fancy swapping my 69 AH Sprite for an A40 Farina or similar. Now winter has come, getting in and out of the Sprite is difficult for me with the hood or hardtop on.
Probably have to be runner with not much to do though. My restoration days are drawing to a close thanks to Osteo Arthritis.

Maybe Rick could incorporate a swap section along with the for sale and wanted section.

I'd just like to raise the enthusiasm to finish my Morris 1000 traveller, but no garage and cold weather don't help!

Sounds like an entirely sensible plan to me ... not that I'd want to influence things or anything http://www.sunbeamlotus.com/the-club/cars-for-sale

Every man should have at least one Steam Engine, of some description, or so I am told, so I recon, I would be buying another engine, can never have too many can you?

I am not currently looking for more projects though... lol

I also have some in the shed that needs restoring so technically would not need another project.
But when you look around you always see Fantastic Bargains!

In the future I would like a 40s or 50s upper class car. AC 2 Litre, or a Daimler although their styling I am not a fan of. Alvis TA would be nice but too slow? TC is faster but less stylish.
I would love a Majestic Major!

Never thought they would appeal but I quite like a XK150 as well. Lovely old fashioned to drive, well made, good engine, fast, nice looking. Too expensive though.
Maybe even a Jensen 541 with the Austin 4 litre engine. The shape is growing on me. But must try that first to be sure. Or a Peerless?

In another corner of me I quite like a Clan Crusader with a 998 engine, Lotus Europa or Elan conv S1. My 18 year old son is showing some interest in a (Lotus) Seven, maybe we build a kit ourselves. That would be fun too.

in the near future, I'm seeing myself in either a vauxhall viva, vauxhall chevette, mk3 ford cortina or a mk1 granada......haven't made me mind up yet.
whatever I decide, it'll be replacing the fiat cinquecento not the Alvis Wink
