I have Just been looking through a 1922 Joseph Sankey catalogue, and had not realised that they made far more than wheels.
Mudguards, chassis rails, pressed steel dashes and a nice range of bodies, (Limousine's, Laundelette's and 25 seat motor coach's.)
I wonder if any of these survive.
When I can log on to photobucket I'll post some pic's of the bodies. |

Getting pictures on would be great. I have never heard of them so it would be interesting. _________________ The Clan Chieftain |

Here's a couple of scans from the catalogue.

The small, 3/4 ton trailers seen behind army Land Rovers are called Sankey's. I wonder if it is the same company? |
