Hi, I'm Dave,
I have just joined and would be delighted to chat with anyone who owns a Hillman Californian! I am reserching the car!
My late Grandad Eddie used to own one and i have very happy memories going on holiday to sunny Leysdown on sea in her as a boy. When we moved from Lewisham in London to Stevenage Hertfordshire in 1970, Grandad left the car in the council garage, it hadn't been running at the time, I wonder what happened to it? All i have are a couple of b/w photos of her, she was cream and blue. Boy would i love to find her.
I do hope to buy one, one day, even one to do up! I know they are hard to find these days, but i live in hope!!! One item that was saved from the car was a window heater, chrome outside 2 black switches and it still works!
Hi everybody!!! |
