I proposed to the wife at Christmas 1971 and she agreed....to get married. For a laugh I would say it turned out the worst but its not really. The funniest was a couple of years ago when my sister in law ( who is in some nick for 50 odd ) got me a blow up doll.  Yes its still in the box  Maybe she was trying to tell me something

Could have been worse - she might have got you an inflatable sheep
You might want that doll if you ever go solo to one of these towns with "high occupancy lanes" on their roads - Bristol has a few, but probably some nearer to you. The camera won't be able to tell the difference so all you need to do is blow it up, dress it in some of the wife's clobber and cruise past the traffic jam  |
