Hi guys/gals,
I just thought i'd introduce myself here after recently taking delivery of a rather unique, dream car of mine....a Delorean Time Machine!
I'm a huge fan of the 80s-90s films, but one trilogy certainly has a special place for me
I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to meet a highly regarded props builder whilst on honeymoon last year and we got chatting. The next thing I know, I'm broke and have a time machine
I'll be attending some events this year for sure. Classic car events have always been my favourites, they're just so much more entertaining than the newer breed of cars and there looks to be some great motors on here!
I have made a little website in my spare time as more of a showcase, but will be doing a few events and assisting a UK based charity along the way, of which they are extremely grateful.
See you in the future....or in the past!

Hi Luke,
Welcome to the forum, as you say...there are some great vehicles and related items on this Forum...also some very knowledgable people....although I don't know how many have had experience of "Time Machines"
Your Delorean Looks superb!....I bet it gets a lot of attention.
I still enjoy watching the Films, especially the first one, still very good.
Will look forward to seeing more of the Delorean on the forum, just make sure you keep that "Flux Capacitor" fully charged ..otherwise you might get stranded!
All the Best,
Greg |

Morning Greg!
Thanks for the welcome. I figured this would be a great place to show the car as it will be a more mature and appreciative audience.
The attention is a bit wild at times. Petrol station visits tend to turn from 5mins to 30minutes It's creating smiles (and in some cases hysteria!) which is the real pleasure for me.
The Flux Capacitor always has a strong 12v....erm, I mean...plenty of plutonium running through it |

Hi Luke and welcome to the forum. I seen a DeLorean at the cars of the stars exhibition at Ingliston Edinburgh a few years ago. Flux Capacitor I always thought was a great original name.......Larry. _________________ The Clan Chieftain |

| Any chance of a quick trip back about 60 years? I could pick up some cheap second hand bits for my old Ford |

Excellent idea, I can see the Delorean is going to need a towbar fitted for a trailer |

I can imagine, a friend of mine had a General Lee (Dukes of Hazard)
....that got some attention!
He was invited to take it onto the Graham Norton Show and had a great time doing that.
........have you got a "Mr Fusion" fitted yet?
All the best,
Greg |

Cheers for the kind words all!
Greg, I bet it did. I love that car. I already have the Mr Fusion, it also makes the suction sound when you open it to put a banana in |
