We had some CF ambulances down here in Wales, but as I remember them, they kept discarding rear wheels complete with halfshaft!
Nonetheless, I agree that the CF was a nicer van than the Transit.
I'd quite like a CF coachbuilt camper van............................. |

I used to be in a rally team in the late 80's early 90's, and we towed the rally car with a Series 1 CF LWB with the 2.3 Vauxhall power plant in it. It had twin SU's I think, and pulled pretty well. It was converted with bucket seats in the front, a Granada bench seat behind as a crew cab for 5, and still plenty of room in the back. I'll try and dig out some pics! _________________ Born to rally, forced to work!

Gosh, I remember when it was a common sight to see these in action
The Danish postal service used them. _________________ http://www.eurods.eu/wp/index.html |

I know a chap who has a Mk1 CF project, and there was a CF camper around here until a couple of years ago. Somewhere I have a Haynes book on the CF that I bought for some coverage of bits that might be similar to the Firenza. Also have a copy of the ZF service manual that covers both. |
