I DID get a financial contribution towards my new Clayton Heater, not as much as I had hoped, it never is, is it? But it's the thought that counts. I just wish they had counted their thoughts a little more, though. Rolling Eyes

It's my birthday in April, so, I will start dropping hints towards a new chrome kit for my Mark 2 just after the Creme Eggs hit the shops.
Couple of weeks then. Smile

I did rather well; three excellent motoring books: 'Harnessing Horse Power, the Pat Moss Carlsson story', 'British Rally Drivers, their cars and awards - 1925-1939' and 'British Trial Drivers, their cars and awards - 1919-1928' and also two cabinets to hold my collection of model Rileys (currently 90+).

And on Boxing Day a trip to the sales for a new mini hifi system - I can recommend www.absoluteradio60s.co.uk for all you flower children Smile

I mainly got what I needed, eg a new DVD player to replace the dead one. I did however get a book on Walsall trolleybuses from my grandson (nearly three) and his baby sister. He is obviously developing in the right way; his parents took him to a local museum recently and he kept asking why there weren't any buses there Smile
