Hi folks, about 20 years ago or so, I restored a BL J4 panel van. It was very dark green, almost black, registration WTC 443L. It was a 1622 petrol originally, though we fitted a 1800 diesel (and box too if my memory serves me right) from a Sherpa. It ran very well though the gear linkage took some sorting but was fine eventually. I sold it to a guy around the Newark area, I think he was involved in Narrowboat building or something. I'd love to hear if the thing is still going, perhaps the owner is known on here?
Cheers, Ian. |

Wow Ian, thats a swift reply!!! That would be about the time we sold it on I think. Can I ask, where did you search for the info, presumably the DVLA site somewhere??

means it's had the trade section of the V5 filled out. It could have been scrapped and a Certificate of Destruction not issued, or it could be in some trader's yard somewhere. Doesn't look too hopeful, anyway. _________________ Richard Hughes |
