I have posted some photo`s from between 30 and 23 years ago of my Bedford CF V8 in the Bedford section..
I still have the van and intend to take her to some shows this year,after laying her up for a very long time.

| What back axle did you use. I knew some one who managed to squeeze a 390 Ford (6.3 litre 300 H.P.) into a C.F. He used the Ford automatic gear box. It was very quick on acceleration if it didn't light up the tyres, but it would only do about 80 m.p.h. The axle didn't last long I think he sold it with a broken axle. |

I fitted a Cresta (3.3ltr engine) diff into the CF axle, ratio is 3.54.1
This is a good all round ratio.
