Hi - I will join in here cause I like all classic cars, especially the cars from GB.

I´m from South Bavaria, near the boarder to Austria.
I spent much time restoring some cars: 2 BMW Isetta, 2 Fiat 500 and 1 Autobianchi (1963). But then I got the english virus and prepared a 1965 Midget, but my dream was fulfilled with my 1959 Frogeye Sprite. He conquerd my heard.

Hello Micheal,

Are you anywhere nr the beautiful village of Mittenwald, just south of Garmisch- Parten Kirchen .?

There is a dealership selling oldtimer cars on the border nearby.

I have travelled around this area on motorcycles and in our Jaguar XJ6 we used to own.

Hi Gresham,

I life 60 mls western from Mittenwald, but I´m often there when I go to Italy.
I´m although a fan of camping, so I built myself a wonderful little camper car (Mini-T@B). It would be a combinatin to hang this camper on my Frogeye Sprite. What do you think about this thought? I´ve done this with my little Fiat 500.

Hello Micheal,
Do you live anywhere near Lindau,nr the Bodensee.?

From Lindau to the outskirts of Salzburg is the Deutsche Alpenstrasse,this is one of Europe`s longest routes (162 miles) of continuous scenic interest,with almost the whole road in or very close to the often snow capped mountains,you must know this route.

I have ridden this route on a motorcycle and driven along it in a car.

One of my favourite regions to visit,very pretty towns and villages en route.

Do you have any photo`s to post.?

I will see if I have any.

Hi Gresham,

yes, I live near the "Deutsche Alpenstrasse" and it´s a wonderful street along the alps, just like the southern part of England, where I have been some years ago with my SLK. This is a typical cabrio route.
