just a quick intro. my name is rutts i live in blackburn lancashire and i have owned lots of different vauxhall/opel motors over the last 29 years. first car when i passed my test viva 1256e coupe loved that car so when it died ( could not weld then ) i bought another and fitted a magnum 2.3 engine and gearbox but left the 1256 axle on by using a viva 1.8 prop. did not do a lot to gallon but accelerated passed xr3s easily. progressed through chevettes ascona b and ascona a then mantas through out the range of specifications. doing an opel ascona a two door now into a sprint/hillclimb car as i had one 20 years ago and loved it.

These Ascona,s are getting rare, overhere in Denmark.

Its a cool car, have a local GM fan, he would love that one.

Very nice Ascona there, I saw an orange A series one in Essex a couple of years ago, then owned by a forum member on here. I think he sold it though.
I think I recognise your forum name from the OMOC site do I?
