I have always loved traction engines. The smell of coal and hot oil is great.
I remember at the Selkirk show a couple of years ago whan it was pitch black at night and a couple of Showmans engines were running with all their lights on and there was a steam organ playing. There was a beer tent and a burgher van on the go. It was a lovely September evening and it was just sheer magic.
I just wondered buzzybee were you brought up with steamers and are you self taught. More to the point are you like Dibnah and others who have to get parts made. I take my hat off to you guys with the Steamers. Cool
