I have just worked out how to post pictures, I thought you might like to se my folding caravan. I was told it was one of a batch of 12 made by John Barron, not sure of the spelling. It has a plate with JB stamped on it.[img] [/img]

It would be good to see the folding process - there's something to be learnt from every vehicle. |

Yes it is a good car had it since about 1988, as to the caravan, The lantern roof lifts off,
the canvas is unclipped both sides and removed. The two ends are released and lowered inwards.
then the sides are lowered. The lantern roof is placed on top of the resulting box and held with rubber clips.
I will get further pictures next time I use it.
It also has a small awning that clips to the front and looks like a tent.

I am still waiting for one of the experts to tell me more about the Barron caravan? does the silence mean it is so rare no one has heard of it?

Hi, that looks a nice folding camper. My Barron is not as wide I do have a tent that fixes to the door end and doubles the space.
I don't have any other pictures at the moment, the snow is several inches deep here in Mid Wales at the moment so I am strangely unwilling to take any .
