Yesterday my grand daughter bought a 57 plate 0.8 Matiz with 31,000 on the clock for £1600. Quite a tidy wee car for the money. Anyone else on here got one or have had any dealings with them.

Moderator - please delete topic?
This should be a forum for classic cars so please no awfully boring modern cheap cars, there are enough forums for those.

Sorry Larry do not take this as a personal attack but please keep in mind we visit this forum to escape from modern cars.

On the forum I moderate there's a virtual reality pub where any topic is acceptable. Perhaps that's what's needed here, it could be called 'Larry's Bar'.

I did moot the idea of a modern car corner, but it was quickly shot down as being inappropriate, and I tend to agree. The odd thread doesn't harm, but I wouldn't want lots of threads about Vectras, Scenics and modern SUVs for instance.

If I introduced an "anything goes" category I'd spend my life moderating it, so that won't be happening sorry.

That's what I thought too Rick but it requires less moderation than the car related sections. The 'pub' has two rules: 1) Keep it clean. 2) Obey rule 1.

I'd also add "No politics" nothing worse than giving folk a platform to vent unsubstantiated anecdotal claptrap!.

Larry, from what I know the Matiz is safe and reliable, the top2 things we look for when our children or grandchildren first hit the road !
