The streets were closed off in this delightful market town for the day.
The vehicles started assembling at 8.30am,we arrived at a more leisurely
10.00am and found a prime spot.!!
A route had been planned with a lunchtime stop at a farm shop with delightful parking at the rear on the paddock.
Most people took a picnic and sat outside but meals were available indoors.
We then left this location and headed for the Bell Inn Stilton.
The road running through this village was the old A1 trunk road before the village was by-passed.
The street is very wide and has a few old coaching inns still in use as hostelries.
The vehicles were parked all along the street and on any available space deemed suitable.
A lovely sunny day,the best this year for getting out in your classic car.
A very good event with glorious countryside to admire.
Rear of the Bell Inn.

What's impressed me most is in the first picture. How did you get The Home Secretary to be a marshal? |

We took the red Humber Sceptre MK1.
You know the old saying "Its not who you know, its how much to grease their palm.
Actually they were naughty government officials out on community service.
