We have booked and paid the £3.50 to go to this an, Andrew Greenwood show which we enjoy, as it seems to be an upcoming one and its a nice drive from Nottingham - not too long and motorways can be avoided in needed.

However the weather in the West tomorrow looks set to be wet and rainy and also today - I hope this is not a prelude to a rerun of last year's awful weather Crying or Very sad Its dry but cloudy here now and tomorrow is likely to be the same at worst.

We will keep an eye on this but at over 160 miles round trip in a P4 or P5 its about £50 in petrol and total waste of money if its wet and few others turn up.

We managed some local ones last year in bad weather for part of the day sometimes in one of the Land Rovers (which was useful!) but driving to rallies in nice weather is all part of the classic car experience

I'm going to this, I'd just washed the car down from last weekend when the heavens opened, but it's cloudy with patches of blue sky here now - I'm about 20 miles south of Arley Hall. I've just had an email from Andrew Greenwood which I wondered might have been a cancellation, but it's not, it's just encouragement. He says there's a "decent weather outlook", so it must be right!

We had some pretty impressive hail and thunder this afternoon! Smile No idea what it was like up at Arley though, or what the forecast is Confused

Showers of varying intensity at Oulton Park throughout today with hail and a rumble of thunder - good job we bought new waterproofs yesterday!

I only caught the last bit of the weather forecast / guess that said there would be rain around 4pm, but I don't know what it said before that.

In contrast to earlier, this evening the weather was great, blue skies etc etc

Well, I went to this today. There was a pretty good turnout actually, lots more than were there in September last year. Rain came in during late morning, then went off a bit and it looked like it might brighten up, then came back and it didn't. It wasn't heavy rain, but just enough to be annoying. Show was wound up by 2.30pm and we were all on the way home then. Not even worth putting up the photos.

Sorry to hear that it was almost a washout - we did not go in the end. It started raining here too about Midday and still is
