I'd love to meet up with like minded folk, is there anything around the Norfolk/Suffolk area coming up where I can camp alongside others? I'm planning to finish the resto this weekend, and as of next weekend, I will have 9 days off work (I'll be free from 2nd August, yay!!). Also, other weekends? I'd love to get Hattie out there!
(assuming I've got a replacement tow car by then, mine died a week ago, typical, get meself a caravan and less than a week later the tow car dies!) |

Sounds a bit mental but Sizewell is a nice place. Close to Aldeburgh and Southwold. Thats Suffolk I have stayed at this place http://www.beachviewholidaypark.co.uk/
I think its nice as nothing has really been built around there since the 60s because of the nuclear plant. It that goes down then we are all in a mess where ever we are. You may struggle to get booked in any where now though.
There are some nice campsites at cromer also Thetford. Kelling heath is very nice but really popular so would doubt you would get in. I did see a campsite I have never noticed before at woodbastwick, which would be close to wroxham and the broads.
All the best

TT I take my grandsons to the Caravan Club site in Thetford Forest every year in June for the Desert Rats Remembrance Ceremony. It is a nice site but not a classic meeting. Perhaps we could make it into one next year!
Is Melton Mowbray too far for you? There is a major Classic Caravan meeting from 23rd-26th August, at Stapleford Park. Up to 100 caravans there in previous years. Details and an application form:
