Hi there. I hope this is of interest to someone. I need to clear space and get rid of a caravan that my Grandparents bought 2nd Hand about 40 years ago. It is probably 1930s, maybe someone can tell me more about it as I know nothing.

I just put it on ebay as I hadn't found this forum at the time, so I hope it is of interest. Feel free to call if you can give her a good home! Pictures are on the ebay link:

VINTAGE CARAVAN ON EBAY

Many thanks

Mike

Fast replies - Wow!

She is going to get burnt if no one claims her! I am under orders I'm afraid but will hate to destroy a piece of history like that. She was due for the bonfire yesterday but I have bought a week by putting her on ebay.

I hope someone wants her.

Hi Mike

It may be worth elaborating in the listing about the overall dimensions, and the measurement front the outside edge of one tyre, across to the outer edge of the other, so people can get an idea of what width trailer would be required to move it

I've flagged it with a guy I know in the historic caravan club

cheers
Rick

Thanks Rick,

I'll try and grab some measurements tomorrow and add them.

Can anyone identify it?

Not sure to be honest. Glad someone has finally bidded... I hope she gets restored!
