The estate ha a combined oil/temperature gauge and the temperature gauge works fine. But the oil pressure gauge wont return to zero when I switch off. It starts at 60psi. Should I just fit a standard oil switch back into the block and forget the gauge. I have looked on ebay for another gauge but cant find one....any ideas? _________________ The Clan Chieftain |

I would keep checking fleabay. Those dual gauges aren't terribly rare and one is bound to turn up sooner or later, actually they weren't too dear brand new until a few years ago, but are silly money now. Fitting a simple warning lamp in place of an oil pressure gauge seems a very backward step to my mind. |

Very true. I much prefer the gauge. I will keep looking. _________________ The Clan Chieftain |

Of course there is another possibility. Depending on your dash layout, you could maybe ditch the dual gauge and fit seperate temperature and oil pressure gauges, may be cheaper / more common on fleabay (which comes to much the same thing) that way. |
