|
|
I am looking for some type of aerosol paint that I can just give some bare metal a dust coat with to prevent the surface rust coming back, whilst I am waiting to finish the prep for the primer. Which is going to be a few weeks yet.
I need something reasonably priced as it will be smoothed down for the primer coat. Any recommendations? It's for my Fiat 500 bonnet and engine lid. |

What about some upol acrylic etch primer? Cheap enough on ebay and ive used it quite a lot. Doesnt seem to react with other paints afterwards.

I'm using Jotun HB which may be the same stuff. Have a look on the MIG welding forum for enlightenment. Search Jotun epoxy. _________________ Evans Waterless Coolants

Another vote for epoxy primer, if the panel will be left for a few weeks. |

Cheers Peter. Reasonably priced as well. Covers 10m2 enough to do about 3 Fiat 500's |
