Thinking of popping along to this as it's so local, and taking the Atlantic to annoy all the shiny MG drivers! Has anyone been before?

I'd have liked to have gone to this Richard, but the £10 entrance fee grates a bit. I know it's probably donated to Charity, but a fiver would be better.
Supposed to be a good show though, enjoy if you go. Have you booked in?

No, I'm not that organised. I'm just going to turn up!
I know what you mean about the entry price and I wouldn't normally pay to enter a show, but it does look pretty decent. It's also very very local, and I could easily spend an extra £10 in petrol in the A90 going to a show a bit further out (Southminster for example).
It even has a Pimms tent! I doubt you'd get that at any of the Northern shows! _________________ Richard Hughes |

So I hear you went Richard and bumped into some of my work colleagues!
Understand the weather wasn't too great? Did many turn up? Would you recommend it for next year?

Shame each time it's held I've got other things on, I think last year fell on my Blackpool weekend, this year it was the family get together.
I keep getting badgered to attend so must try one year.
Looking at the Nostalgia website I'd say, yes worth attending. |

Hi Dave,
Yes I did! It was actually a pretty good show and one I'll be going to next year if I'm around then! Weather wasn't too bad, a few light showers but mostly ok. Turnout was reasonable, although a good 50% were American cars which don't really interest me. Lots of vintage clothing and accessory stalls as well if you're into that sort of thing. As I was on my own in the car they only charged me a fiver for entry as well, which wasn't too bad.
I took loads of photos, give me an hour or so and I'll upload some! _________________ Richard Hughes |
