Hi all, a few of you came along to the Southminster Flower Show last year, and hopefully had a good day out. The organisers have approached me again to see if I can generate some interest again this year in having another good turnout of Classic cars.
It will be on the Saturday the 20th July, at the King George V playing fields in Southminster. I think last year we had to be there between 11am and Midday, and the show finished circa 4.30 to 5pm.
Anyone interested in this, please let me know and I'll try and make sure we arrange enough space on the field.
I'll post more details when I have them.

Thanks chaps, sorry you can't make it this year Alan and Richard. Roger, I'll keep you posted of further details nearer the time. I see they have it advertised on the CCVC site also, and usually Southend & District get invited, so i hope we get a good turnout again.
I might mention it to EC, not sure yet!

Show is this Satuday in Southminster for anyone wanting to come. Just turn up on the day, at the King George V playing fields in Southminster about 11am. Entry will be via the station car park off Tattersalls Chase.
Hope some can make it!

Here's a couple of pics I took at the show. The Morris Cowley Four was my late fathers, the TR6 is my brothers, the Morris 8 is my uncles, and the Manta is mine. The Ferrari I'd borrowed for the day from a good friend.
There was about 30 vehicles there, but would like a lot more next year.

As far as I know Roger yes. Usually 3rd Saturday in July. They have asked me to be on the organising committee for next year, so I should have details earlier. I have some ideas and friends I can ask along next year with some traction engines and stuff, so will see what happens.
