hi all
we have been putting back together an 75 glass windowed touranger and all was going so well till we started on the gas lines
4 different sizes and the new stuffs metric
so im a cheep skate the main line is 3/8 thats ok but i need to extend it with new 10mm finally use a new 10mm compression joint as 10mm don't fit the old fittings
the new water heater ha ha carver gas only/ must be at least 20 years old and 8mm the original was 1/4 out with the blow torch and after a bit of cleaning and soldering where in business
the carvers sb1800 is great and needs no adjustment whoopee
the fridge was 1/4 and the new one was even smaller but the main inlet is 8mm so a soldering we will be
that just left the calor cooker 3/8 bsp to 1/4 inch pipe
thank you Crosslings our main plumbers merchants been around for ever and had the necessary reducers to finish the job
next time i may bight the bullet and change the whole lot but i love the chase and i can say i even enjoy the agro with my son the fitter
