Hi all.. I was wondering if anyone had any good tips, or could suggest a good product for cleaning up old leather seats?

My Ford Popular seats aren't in bad nick, they just need a good deep polish, any suggestions? I've used good old washing up liquid, and elbow grease.. But still some ground in dirt!

Cheers

ive used these products loads of times with great results. the cleaner is so much kinder on the leather than washing up liquid.

I recently recoloured my XJS seats with a kit from furniture clinic a bit more involved than a quick polish but very impressive.

regards Kels.

I will second this recommendation.
I did my A35 chairs that where nearly black when I got them, but after many many applications of cleaner and conditioner, they are now a lovely mid-red.
Couldn't believe how much cr*p came off of them, and they where transformed from stiff cardboard to supple leather.

I also did the rear seat and backrest on the Austin Ruby with Gliptone and they have come out nice and supple as well. A previous owner had the front seats recovered in vinyl, nice job done but not original, so may re-do in leather later

I tried just about every other brand and suggestion, but NON worked as well!

Gliptone have this well and truly sussed. (Disclaimer)
