Not sure what the email is going to say but they seem to be doing them in some shape or form. |

I have been getting their emails for a few years now and never buy unless the VAT free offer is on, BUT I think that sometimes the offer is only on Clarke products and other brands can still be cheaper. _________________ Brian

They do seem to be more common these days, when I first remember them it was about twice a year. I used to go quite often, but then they brought in a minimum spend to get the discount and when I only want one or two fiddly bits it's not worth the special journey, might as well just call round when I have a job on in Cardiff at a sensible time. Thing is, of course, if you do need something expensive you'll generally need it right away and not when Machine Mart want to have a sale day, so they're pretty safe. |

A bit like eBay 'free listing weekend', used to be quite a special occurence and now seems to be almost regular at every second weekend. I don't go into MM a lot, but from the catalogues I see around a lot of their prices seem quite high even with 20% off. |
