Are there any notable anniversaries coming up in 2014, with regard to motoring in general, or indeed any significant birthdays due for vehicle(s) in your motor house?

The Dodge will celebrate 90 years at some point, March time iirc.

My 1938 Buick was 75 in September of this year so I made a point of getting the engine fired up for the 1st time since at least 1980.

Riley did rather well in the Le Mans 24hr race in 1934 so we'll be celebrating that by going to the Le Mans Classic in July - and I shall reach pensionable age in November though I'm not so sure that is something to celebrate...

40th anniversary of the HP (Droopsnoot) Firenza being available. It was announced at the 1973 Motor Show, and launched at the "Spring Cup" at Thruxton in 1974 with a race featuring 20 cars and top racing drivers of the time, including Gerry Marshall, Barrie Williams, Tony Lanfranchi and, I believe, Stuart Graham.

Also I believe it's the 40th anniversary of the Lotus Eclat.

My Saxon will be 100 years old on May 4th, which is conveniently a Sunday, so I shall have to think of something suitable to celebrate the occasion.

100 years of Guy lorries this year. Always had fond memories of them as my Dad ran a couple of them when I was a young lad.
