I have recently purchased some new old stock shock absorbers that were probably originally intended for Cavalier caravans.
They seem to fit the description for B&B chassis.
Thet are marked Woodhead 06818, closed 7.5", open 11.5" bush at bottom, pin at top.
I mistook them for hitch damper units but they are suspension shocks and do not work horizontally.
If anyone would like them or wants more details please message me.
