A sound and very presentable E-Series Vauxhall has the makings of a good car, does anyone here own one of these?

The car has been removed from sale on Ebay by the seller this evening.
Someone must have snapped it up. I think the KE registration was Kent so the car has not moved very far because the seller is in Essex.

I remember these Vauxhalls in the mid 1960s when they could be bought for very little money.
There was one in particular, a red example and locally registered which was bought by a Hippy in 1970 at a time he was living in the locality.
He customised it to his own tastes with "flames" and murals on the bonnet and bootlid.

He "moved on" eventually, in the Velox................

Very nice. I used to have a '51 a few years back. Same car with different grille, dashboard etc. Used it every day for a while. Kept up with modern traffic with ease and was very frugal on petrol too. Lovely.
