Good evening,

I have a RHD Citroen C4 and would like to swop, buy, trade, locate a
complete set of parts to make it LHD.....

Heard there was one C4 in Essex for sale but cannot find it.....

I'm based in SW France, I'd be happy to help out with the work in the UK or come and stay awhile and we could do it here.....I have a car lift in an excellent workshop with the use of a complete machine shop....

I'm just finnishing the sandblasting / painting and will be putting my chassis back together this winter......

any help please......0033 546 497 751......frankjhorton@me.com

thanks Frank

Hi Frank,

perhaps I have misunderstood, but surely it would be easier to search for a
LHD vehicle in France? I had a quick look on Leboncoin and found this one
south of Paris.....

any use?

Thanks & good luck Steve

Hi Guy's,
thanks for the replies.....the C4 on what I call Bonky-Wahhhhh is sold.....

As for mine, I know the history....I'm the 3rd owner and the vehicle was bought new in France and I got if from just south of Narbonne
(on the Medit. coast).....in the 20's and 30's it was quite normal to have either LHD or RHD on a new car and around 1935 ish they changed to the wrong side of the road.....I don't quite know for sure and as my French is POOOO....
I'd find it difficult to find out......but out of interest all RHD vehicles had to have a green light on the rear (your n/s) as well as red....so I've been told by an old guy in Fronglaise......
Mine was cut up around the war time to make a pick-up (was a 4 door sedan)
the farmers used them as tractors and incidentally mine has been fitted with an extra gearbox to give low range....the daft buggers didn't blank off reverse but that I'll do when it all goes back together......

SO as it will spend it's life on the Garlicky side of the Channel I'd prefer it to be
LHD, a lot safer.....
Many thanks for the help......Frank in France
