Hello,
I have a Morris 8 from 1948 that is restored about 5 years. I'm from Portugal.
However it has a electrical problm that was solve replacing dynamo with alternator with 2 bateries. It charge a 12v But work at 6v. but a few months have stoped working.
Now i will try to fix it by restore original Dynamo and control box. But I need help!
I need the electrical diagram!

I have wiring diagram for the E series. As soon as I work out how to copy a page from a PDF file Ill post it. And yes nice car. Hope my 48 turns out as good. _________________ I really am a nice guy. Just ask anyone that hasn't met me. |

I know that all car wiring diagrams are much the same but that doesn't really look like it was for a Morris 8 SE!

Um just to through another spanner into the works. Seeing as the car is in Portugal and left hand drive, would it not come under the export model wiring diagram? I have both on my manual, but can copy individual pages as its on a PDF file that has a security lock. _________________ I really am a nice guy. Just ask anyone that hasn't met me.

Thanks a lot!!
I seach in web but only find techical Service Sheet in (www.morris8cars.zxq.net) but don't have electrical diagram. If you know where I find more usefull techical information please tell me where is it to buy it or download.
Now, I will buy a dynamo and try to fix it. I already buy a voltage regulator in ebay. It isn't easy to find it with good price! I don't know the state of it, it's easy to fix?

Hy,
I already found a dínamo and 2 voltage regulator for my Morris 8.
However i have a problm with a Dínamo.
If i change the front cover it don't aligned the hubs.
Can you have an idiea?

Hy guys,
I need to remove the horn and trafic switch from the steering wheel, i already remove the smal screw down slide from the steering but the all piece don't out. Please tell me If i was forgeting any else?
