Hi.
I will shortly be the proud owner of a very nice rust free Jaguar XK8. I want to keep it that way, the arches and back panels have a tendancy to rust, and ide like to treat inside, by drilling inner panels where necessary, and applying something.
Question is, what would people recommend, for durability, ease of application, low cost of special tools for application , or any other reasons?

Look forward to hearing your opinions.

Paul

I'm sure you'll get a few responses, also have a look at where the floorpan joins the transmission tunnel underneath, they can rot out there too.

Dinotrol seems to be a popular choice nowadays, I'm a little out of touch with products of late...

The Dinitrol products are fair, but to my mind you can't beat the various waxes made by Bilt-Hamber - based in Essex and easily found via your favourite search engine. Not sure how their stuff compares with the Dinitrol on price, but it's at least as good performance wise (I rather think it's better) and of all the similar products on the market, about the easiest to apply. Comes in large aerosols (they're meant to be good, and may be a sound choice if you're short on kit) or by the gallon, generally with small discounts for quantity.
