A friend has just purchased one of these in very original condition.
Does anyone have one.?

Funnily enough a recently Deceased friend had one on his workbench for years. He asked me to get him new piston rings for it, they were oversize and amazingly Thorntons at Shrewsbury had them in stock still in BSA wrapping! I dont know what became of it, presumably it was left to his Son, but was a nice thing apart from (he said) that to access the points the crankcase had to be seperated?
