Hi

Just found this on there:-

VULCAN Vintage Lorry
~ Built 1917 in Lancashire ~
With a 4 cylinder petrol engine.
A 1st World War order, this lorry was
never used or road registered.
Completely restored, with rebuilt engine.

Look at stargazer uner Traction engines, now that is one hell of a smart engine!

Allways like the look of the single cylinder field marshalls as well!

Cheers

buzzy, I saw the Vulcan lorry last week, but for some reason registered it as a steam lorry. The reason for that being that there used to be a company called Vulcan at a place called Newton-le-Willows /Earlestown, which is just outside Warrington. This company was building steam lorries as far back as 1864, I believe!

stuchamp, have a look at www.wlct.org/Tourism/Wiganpier/trench.htm if you want to see a really good steam engine!

Modern Wigan has no peer - since I left!
