Below is an early 1960s photograph of a now drowned village in North Wales, Capel Celyn, which was flooded to create a freshwater reservoir.

Which and how many classics can you identify?

[]

Good luck.[/img]

Shame the photo is of such low resolution because once you get back past the 6th or 7th car, the white Renault Dauphine, they become quite blurred and probably open to discussion.

Ford Anglia behind it then Mkll Consul after which my eyes go blurred.
Looks like a Bedford Super Vega coach(red/cream) but I could be wrong.
Wouldn't be the first time,cheers,JD.

My apologies for the "soft" nature of the photo. When I saw the original from which this version was generated, it looked quite clear but to my disappointment came out as you see it.
I do have another on my lap top, how to I edit or "clean it" to achieve more definition, please?

I'm no computer wizzard, believe me.

I can't add anything to the cars already spotted, but I think that the buses/coaches are, front -rear:

Bedford SB/ Plaxton Embassy
Britol MW/ ECW
Bedford OB/ Duple Vista

Think the 3rd one back on the right might be a Standard Ensign?

"nd left 'Black ??' could be a Peugeot

Directly above that, before the gap is a split screen Morris Minor
Behind that looks like a vanguard, can't see the full radiator as someone is standing in front of it

I have a nice picture for you to have a go at , cars parked at Heathrow. Should be enough to keep you occupied for a couple of hours😃

Interesting group of cars camping near Dymchurch, probably just pre war.
Might be a bit easier than Heathrow in the 60s if you're a bit older.

Close, but the side lamp looks too small.

Funny there should be a Renault Dauphine in the middle of that one too, didn't realise they were so numerous.

I can get most of these but what's the car third row far right? Next to what looks like a Citreon DS2.

Also 5th row with a space either side of it?
