Hi Steve,

As it happens my father was a keen amateur photographer so I do have a fairly similar collection to those in the site (although nothing like as many street scenes) but none of these photos were anything to do with my family. I just discovered them when a friend pointed them out to me.

Here's some of my father's cine film of the Forth Rail Bridge and the construction of the Road Bridge both of which appear in photos from the above website. Sorry about my dreadful video copy and false start. I appear in school uniform at about 2.37/38 (RHS) and up on the towers a year or two later with dark hair and a red shirt.
