Vehicles are stored away for the winter, time to play with model trains and slot cars. |

My plan is to move my old lorry and two cars and all of my kit out of my workshop in order to seal then paint the floors. |

After New Year's eve spent with the Royale Caravan Owner's Club, I doubt that I'll fit for much on Ist January!
Nothing planned for that other festivity. |

I'd just like to do something with with a car over Christmas , we have be doing a bit of house renovation, started in September , I thought it would take a month, but the "project" grew and grew

The Series 2a Land Rover is due to have some fairly major work in the New Year, so, family visits permitting, I hope to make a start on Boxing Day.
I just cannot sit around all day watching television or doing nothing useful even over the Christmas festivities.
I have finally found enough motivation to start removing all the paint from the bodyshell of the Jaguar Mark 2 (for the second time!) in the New Year when it warms up in , say, March.
The Series 1 Land Rover is patiently waiting it's turn. _________________ Starting Handle Expert

Hoping to get all the little jobs finished so I can fire up the rebuilt engine before new year. _________________ Dave

Got to strip and repaint the bonnet.
That will be after the festivities.
PS. and carry on looking for a Nuffield fourspeed gearbox. |

I'm hoping for fine weather on December 30th for the Dave Wilcox Memorial Trial in Derbyshire run by the Pre-War Austin Seven Club:
It should be fun as long as it's not too cold and wet!!!!! |

If I'm not otherwise engaged I'd like to go along, standing in a muddy quarry will be the perfect antidote for an excess of turkey and pudding. Is there an entry list I can download? |

Agreed looks like fun, can non-PWA7C members come along to spectate?

Non-PWA7C members are welcome to spectate; I'm not sure whether an entry list will be published before the event, but if so I'll try and get it listed here. There are usually about 30 Austin Sevens (many double entered) and around twenty other pre-war cars ranging from Bugattis and Frazer Nashes to Model A Fords.
The site is in an old quarry (Butts Quarry) in Ashover, just off the A632 about half-way between Chesterfield and Matlock. (OS ref 344633, start approx. 10 am). |
