Just thinking ahead for when i get my rims back from the powder coaters in January.
I have a nice set of chrome wheel centers like these:

Along with a set of outer trims like these:

But, I fancy a set of these:

Question is, do they fit standard steel rims or not?

There is not really a standard wheel. They fit many common wheels used in the 1950's/1960's and early 1970's on British family saloon the Rimbellishers do not fit so many very well/securely and damage the rim paint

I fitted chrome wheel trims (we call them dress rims) to my A40 tourer about thirty years ago. The Austin wheels are 16" and the trims came from a 1939 American Ford. They fit perfectly.

The inside of the trim has a series of steel fingers that grip the wheel when pressed onto the wheel. They do damage the paintwork however.

I'd like a 14" pair of those for my caravan, too!

My Herald came with a set of similar trims. They didn't seem to damage the paintwork much (maybe it was too bad to be able to tell) but they did make an annoying rattling noise that it took me years to track down Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes before I decided to leave them hanging on a nail.
