An event that's been run at Madeira Drive since 1905 is under threat from the local council.

The Conservative group on the council tabled a motion at a council meeting on December 12th to retain the trials. The minutes of the meeting should tell whether it was successful though they're not yet on the council's website here http://present.brighton-hove.gov.uk/ieListMeetings.aspx?XXR=0&Year=2013&CId=117&MD=ielistmeetings&
