I spotted this a couple of weeks ago. it looks like it has been used as a static holiday retreat.
So has not moved for a long time perhaps.

OK if you live nearby and can return with the wheels fitted with decent tyres.
And let us hope the A frame is OK.
It might tow,but then you are into bigger money having it moved by a truck.

Not feasible if you live 450 miles away.

I spotted one of these in a barn in France where we visit.
I got all excited about buying it from the owner ,until I noticed they had built a low wall outside the property, trees had grown bigger and a garden had been established.

To move the caravan out onto the road would have required so much work and cost, I had to say no.

The upside was the caravan was in amazing condition and so original.

I went to a farm before xmas to see a 1950`s caravan.

The A frame had turned to dust. The wheels had corroded. The tyres were in shreds.

To move the caravan would have cost more than it was worth.

Let us hope this is better.

The first Bluebird i restored , payed far to much , the A frame snapped just as i got home , i ended up replacing 75 % of the wood frame work , new upholstery, etc, etc ,
This is what i expect from a van thats been outside for 50+ years
the thing is go have a look and make your own mind up, the vendor not asking a fortune and i be it will come for less ,and everything is fixable its just the location thats limits the interest , OVM Very Happy

If this caravan was in rural Lincolnshire I would have been up to see it the same day I spotted it on Gumtree.

Some local chaps who run a transport company could have fetched it back for me if I wished.

Tell them they are going to the Scotch Borders and that is a different story.

Too far and not logistically sensible.

Hope someone who lives locally rescues it.
