Like all fashion, car styling changes all the time. Among the many variations I think that a basic one is whether a car is mainly angular or more curvaceous.
Give me curves..Fiat 500, E-type, Beetle; what do you think?...examples please.

I don't think I know the answer to a choice between round or square.

I prefer sweeping running boards to helmet wings. I prefer elongated to dumpy.

Peter Question

Hmmmmm.... square/curvy. I almost make up my mind on square and agree on the Triumph Mayflower then the Austin Ambassador or early '80s Fiats come to mind so I think curvy and then a vision of the Fiat Multipla crosses my mind. I give up, the question is too hard! Embarassed

Hi Peter, I don't think I really care when I think of the vast variety of shapes & sizes of the cars we call classics. When compared to the cars of today, which all look the same & you need to see the badge to find out the maker & as to models, sometimes the owners can't even tell you. When all the makers feed the same data into a computer it's not surprising the same answer comes out. I think we are the lucky ones & long may our hobby(way of life?) continue. Cheers,JD
