I have a 1953 MG TD which uses a felt oil filter. Moss are also selling the more modern paper filters. I wondered if these paper ones can be used as a direct replacement without any modification to the housing.
Anyone used paper filters instead of felt?
Opinions please.

I don't trust felt filters having found small quantities in the wrong places.

I've switched to modern filters on all my cars and never had a problem. |
