I am trying to get rid of a player piano, currently on ebay for free. Can't shift it. It is complete but doesn't work and needs effort put into the pneumatics. They are fantastic machines. I'm going to end up scrapping it which would be a real shame.
I spent years working on flight simulators. A very early one was the Link Blue Box. The entire mechanics of these were based on player piano bits as Mr Link was a player piano engineer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKYyWS9Yfr0
I wonder if I can find a steampunk enthusiast who would take the mechanism?
Anyway, rebuilding a pianola would keep someone quiet and amused for an extended period |

| That's the one. We had a harmonium too. We sold that a few years ago, much simpler prospect to restore. |

Try David Roger Burville (D R Organ Restorations.) I think I saw another one in his workshop. He operates from near Canterbury. _________________ Due to the onset of my mid eighties I'm no longer sprightly and rarely seen in my Austin special.
