I was shown these photos the other day....does it ring a bell with anyone? it has a winged badge with ACP Ltd in the centre, and what looks like <something> Aero around the top. Homemade? or a production job???

Is ACP the initials of the 3 words around the outside? Looks like there is a word round the bottom beginning with P.

I *think* it says something like "A xxxxxx AERO PRODUCT", so perhaps it was something built by an aircraft firm as a sideline?? it'd fit in with the aluminium materials used, and the winged logo

The new owner of this interesting trailer has been in touch about it, and is planning a restoration. He's on the lookout for more info, so if anyone knows anything about this, please add it on here.

thanks, R

I had one of these, not sure when they were made but mine was number 2043 and made in Batley, York by ACP Ltd. Very nice trailers; lightweight, independent suspension, hydraulic brakes, double folding trunk lid big to get an engine in and out easily, it was great. Had it in bare aluminium. Long gone now but still have the badges and lock/handle from it.

I think calling it a caravan is a slight exaggeration Confused

There was one exactly the same for sale local to me a year or two back and I have spotted them on ebay a couple of times so there is a few out there.
Nice shape but I wouldn't want to sleep in it Wink
