Hi, I'm off to the Heritage Motor Museum at Gaydon on the 11th May. Has anyone been there, is it a good day out?

Anything good I should look out for?

Cheers,

Dave

I've been on several occasions, well worth it, especially if there's an outside event taking place at the same time ..... photos from a visit in 2013 here:

I've not been for a long time.If its still there the Land Rover project Iceberg is worth a look. Its the diesel version of the Rover v8,which could have been an incredibly useful engine had funding continued.
It would have been nice to have seen a 6 cyl version of their TDI as well if they had done it.Sorry to ramble on - I run a LR garage and don't like the way the company are going....
It was a very good museum when I went, not too much in the way of pushing buttons and flashing lights.Unlike the Bristol Industrial museum - reworked into the "M" shed, what waste of money and where have all the lovely aero engines etc gone ?
