Hi rjt10/4
The 9 doesn't look bad enough to need a body-off resto. Is it the all-steel body?
I grew up in Pensilva; when caravanning in the Delectable Duchy I often take the Riley up the old railway towards the Cheesewring for a nostalgia trip. I expect you can walk there from your house. |

hi uncle alec yes cheeswring is i mins walk from me next time your down this way pm me and we can meet up at the pub riley is steel body and has rust on rear wing joints and sills also some of the ash is a bit suspect so to make the most decided to have a body off sympathetic resto body and chassis to be blasted and repairs as needed then painted rooflining to be replaced as when you touch it your hands come away blue also chrome work needs some rechrome and elbow grease new carpets and leather feed on upholstery and she should be good for another seventy years |

My Son owns a TR7, has for many years. I took it for an MOT recently and was delighted at how it drove.
His car has been all round the UK and has been very reliable, much better than the pundits would have us believe.
I actually thought of buying one after driving his.
Regards Kels. |
